A village in western Sudan was attacked, resulting in the death of 46 people.
On July 14th local time, the Sudanese civil organization "Sudan Doctors Network" released a statement stating that a village in the Umm Kurlayfa area of North Kordofan State in western Sudan was attacked on the evening of the 13th, resulting in the death of 46 civilians and 37 others injured. The statement accused armed members of the Sudan Rapid Support Forces of entering the village of Wad Hamid and shooting at the villagers, causing serious casualties. The statement called on the international community to take urgent action to protect civilians and bring the perpetrators to justice. The Sudan Rapid Support Forces did not respond to the allegations.
