The China Meteorological Administration issued an orange high-temperature warning at 18:00 on July 14th: It is expected that on July 15th during the day, temperatures of over 35 will occur in various regions including the Turpan Basin and Southern Xinjiang Basin, along the Tianshan Mountains in Northern Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia, central-northern Ningxia, Shaanxi, central-southern Shanxi, southern Hebei, central-western Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, most of Fujian, eastern Guizhou, and Sichuan Basin. In some areas including the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang, the Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi, southern Shanxi, southern Hebei, western Shandong, most of Henan, most of Hubei, northern Hunan, northern and western Chongqing, and eastern Sichuan, temperatures may reach 37-39, while in isolated areas such as the Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi, southwestern Shanxi, southern Hebei, northern Henan, western Shandong, and the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang, temperatures may exceed 40.
