The Office of the People's Government of Dongguan City issued the "Implementation Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Service Consumption in Dongguan City" on the 14th. It proposes to expand the supply of elderly and childcare services. It formulates policy measures for promoting the high-quality development of the silver economy, community-embedded service facilities construction, and addressing the aging population, and initiates the construction of community-embedded service facilities. It leverages platforms such as the China International Elderly Industry Expo to showcase and promote cutting-edge technologies and products in the silver economy. Policies such as the establishment of daycare classes in kindergartens have been introduced, pilot projects for community-embedded childcare service points have been launched, and efforts are made to encourage kindergartens meeting certain conditions to establish daycare classes for infants and toddlers aged 2-3. It promotes the integration of medical care and elderly care, strengthens palliative care specialty services, and researches and formulates a system for palliative care institutions, support systems, and service talent teams. It promotes the construction of municipal elderly care institutions, the radiation of comprehensive elderly care service centers in towns to villages, and the construction of village elderly care service stations. It deepens the construction of "elderly canteens" and improves the 15-minute home elderly care service network. It promotes that elderly and childcare institutions implement water, electricity, and gas fees based on residential living prices.
