According to Reuters on July 13th, a senior executive of Nvidia said that the company's CEO Jensen Huang will hold a media briefing in Beijing on July 16th. Two American senators wrote to Huang on the 11th, asking him not to meet with companies suspected of violating US chip export controls during his trip to China. They also requested Huang to avoid contact with entities on the US export restriction list. According to the Financial Times, Nvidia is planning to launch a new version of artificial intelligence chips tailored for the Chinese market as early as September.
