On the evening of June 4th, a user named "Wei Dongyi" on a short video social platform posted a video in which the "Maths God" from Peking University, Wei Dongyi, introduced himself: "Hello everyone, I am Wei Dongyi, this is my account." The account's bio reads "Wei Dongyi's personal account." According to Red Star News, journalists learned from Wei Dongyi's cousin that the account is not fake, it is indeed Wei Dongyi's personal account, which was applied for with the help of family members. Wei Dongyi's cousin stated that in the future, the account will share mathematical content to allow Wei Dongyi to have more interaction with the outside world. As of now, the account already has over a million followers.
