The Hunan Provincial Government holds working talks with China Commercial Aircraft.

On the afternoon of the 4th, the Hunan Provincial Government and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Limited held a working meeting in Changsha to thoroughly implement the important speech and instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work in Hunan, and to jointly create a new chapter of soaring in the blue sky with cooperation between the central and local governments. Mao Weiming, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Shen Bo, Vice Secretary of the Commercial Aircraft Party Committee and General Manager, attended the meeting. Mao Weiming stated that Hunan attaches great importance to the development of the aviation manufacturing industry, with a solid industrial foundation, a strong technological base, and a solid platform foundation. Currently, the large aircraft ground power dynamics testing platform has been put into operation, small and medium-sized aircraft engines in Hunan have been rated as national advanced manufacturing industry clusters, and the industry's scale and competitiveness rank first in the country. There are over 500 key aviation-related enterprises in the province, with an output value exceeding 60 billion yuan. Since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the provincial government and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China in 2017, Mao Weiming expressed hope that Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China will further support key projects in Hunan, deepen cooperation with Hunan in areas such as the manufacturing supply chain and research and development of key components for large aircraft, and work together to create a new model of cooperation between the central and local governments.
