Barclays Raises S&P 500 Index Target to 6050 Points by 2025

According to the Securities Times app, Barclays released a research report on June 4, raising the target point of the S&P 500 index to 6050 for the year 2025, in preparation for the recovery of earnings per share (EPS) for the 2026 fiscal year. The main logic is that the peak of trade policy uncertainty may have passed; with companies addressing the impact of tariffs on earnings per share, there is a slight upside in valuation; looking ahead to 2026, it is expected that earnings growth will return to normal from the tariff impact in 2025. Barclays still favors the financial, healthcare, and large technology sectors.
