With the development of the economy and the acceleration of urbanization, noise pollution has become a widely concerned issue in society. The prevention and control of noise pollution is an important aspect of improving quality of life. According to the recently released "2024 China Ecological Environment Report," by 2024, the sound environment quality in national cities at and above the prefecture level will remain stable. Noise pollution cannot be ignored. Statistics from the World Health Organization in 2024 show that globally, 1.5 billion people have hearing loss, with approximately 750 million people affected by environmental noise pollution. Research shows that long-term noise exposure is directly related to anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses, with a 1.5% increase in the risk of mental illness for every 5 decibel increase in noise. According to the national "14th Five-Year Plan" for ecological environmental protection, by the end of 2025, cities at and above the prefecture level must fully implement automatic monitoring of functional area sound environment quality, and the nighttime compliance rate must be further improved.
