On June 4th, on the eve of World Environment Day and World Oceans Day, Shenzhen's first fishery carbon sequestration auction was successfully completed at a price of 164 yuan/ton, with the target of 21.1 tons of aquaculture carbon sequestration. This auction is also the first successful auction of fishery carbon sequestration in the Greater Bay Area. With the continuous expansion of the fishery carbon sequestration trading market, "cultivating clams to sequester carbon" is expected to become a new engine for green development in the Greater Bay Area and even the whole country.
