Legionella bacteria exceeds standard, water performance at Osaka Expo suspended.

On June 6th local time, Legionella bacteria approximately 20 times the standard value was detected in the "Water Plaza" at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. Due to the risk of potential collective infection from spray or water splashes, the Expo has decided to cancel the water performance on the 6th. The reopening date has not been determined yet, and the cancellation of the performance on the 5th was also due to this reason. Experts have stated that inhaling water mist containing Legionella bacteria may result in symptoms such as fever, joint pain, or headache within a few days.
