From June 1st to 4th local time, Chen Jianan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led a delegation to visit Uzbekistan to promote exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Uzbekistan and advance the development of bilateral trade and economic relations. During the visit, Chen Jianan attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum and the China-Uzbekistan Commodity Exhibition, and delivered speeches at the China-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum. He met with officials from Uzbekistan such as the Vice Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Rasulov, and the Chairman of the Samarkand Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Dilshod, to introduce China's latest economic developments and measures to enhance cooperation through mechanisms such as the China-Central Asia Industrialist Committee and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrialist Committee to promote practical cooperation in trade and investment. The delegation also conducted exchanges and research on the operations of Chinese-funded enterprises in the local area with the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Association. Additionally, they welcomed Uzbek business community participation in topics of deep exchanges such as the Third Chain Expo.
