From June 1st to 4th local time, Chen Jianan, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led a delegation to visit Uzbekistan to promote exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Uzbekistan, and to promote the development of bilateral economic and trade relations. During the visit, Chen Jianan attended the opening ceremony of the Second China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum and the China-Uzbekistan Commodity Exhibition, delivered a speech at the China-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Investment Cooperation Forum, met with the Vice Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rasulov, and the Chairman of the Samarkand Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dilshod, and other leaders of Uzbek counterpart organizations, focusing on introducing the latest measures of China's economic development and opening-up policies, and discussing collaboration under mechanisms such as the China-Central Asia Business Council and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Business Council to promote practical trade and investment cooperation. They also welcomed Uzbek business communities to participate in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the Third China International Import Expo. In addition, the delegation exchanged views with the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Chamber to learn about the operation of local Chinese-funded enterprises.
