At yesterday's press conference held by the State Council Information Office, relevant officials from the National Energy Administration stated that China will take a series of reform measures to support private enterprises in electricity consumption. Vice Director of the National Energy Administration, Song Hongkun, introduced that China will focus on easing the burden of private enterprises. Building on the current service of "zero on-site visits, zero approvals, and zero investments" for low-voltage small and micro enterprises, the service scope will be further expanded. Individual business owners opening stores, farmers establishing agritainment, and others needing to apply for electricity can now enjoy free connection. We estimate that approximately 1.5 million households will benefit from these measures within five years.
