Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, said, "We are approaching the end of a monetary policy cycle that was initiated to address multiple shocks." She also stated, "We are now in a different period, with different actors, different partners, and different policies. We will continue to analyze, assess, and measure to ensure that we achieve our 2% medium-term inflation target." Lagarde also stated that she would not rule out further raising economic growth expectations.
