Citigroup: Streamline global technology solution centers, Citigroup China remains unaffected.

Today, Citigroup formally announced the global simplification of work, as part of which, it will streamline the global technology support centers - Citigroup Financial Information Services Limited technical personnel in Shanghai and Dalian, reducing about 3,500 technical personnel. It is understood that this adjustment will not affect Citibank Limited, and Citigroup China will continue to steadfastly serve enterprises and institutional clients in China, addressing their cross-border banking needs. Citigroup also stated that the group will continue to seek to establish wholly-owned securities and futures companies in China.
