CSRC: Will strongly support the merger and reorganization of listed companies.

Cheng Hehong, the chief lawyer of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, stated on June 5 at the "2025 Tianjin Wudadao Financial Forum" that the commission will strongly support the mergers and acquisitions of listed companies. The commission will implement the newly revised "Management Measures for Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies", further stimulating market vitality for mergers and acquisitions. Supporting listed companies in acquiring assets that help to strengthen and upgrade key technology levels is important. Encouraging technology-based listed companies to use various payment tools such as shares, convertible bonds, and cash to implement mergers and acquisitions, and promoting the implementation of phased payment mechanisms for stock consideration and simplified review procedures for restructuring.
