China Aero-Engine and United Aircraft Corporation signed sales and lease contracts for the AES100 engine.
According to the official WeChat account of China Aviation Engine, on June 5th, at the summary meeting of the AES100 engine development held in Zhuzhou, Hunan, the AES100 engine was awarded a production license and signed a sales contract. During the meeting, China Aviation Engine and United Aircraft Corporation signed a sales contract and lease contract for the AES100 engine, and plan to complete delivery by 2026. The AES100 engine will serve as the core power unit for the 6-ton-class tilt-rotor unmanned transport platform "Lanying R6000", providing it with high payload capacity, long range, and adaptability to complex environments.
