About two and a half hours later, the number of pre-orders exceeded 40,000. Huawei offline stores also announced pre-sale notices, where customers could pay a deposit of 100 yuan to get priority in receiving the phone. It is reported that this series of phones will be upgraded in terms of imaging technology, performance, and user experience, and will come pre-installed with the new Hongmeng 5 system. According to analyst Li Huaibin from consultancy firm Navfs, sales are expected to reach millions of units, intensifying competition in the high-end smartphone market. The Huawei Pura 80 series is scheduled to be officially released on June 11th, and the number of reservations for the launch event has already reached 290,000.
