The latest data shows that as of now, Hubei has 6 whole human-like robot enterprises including Hand Robotics, Grid Longruo, Optics Valley Huahui, Rui Dong, Optics Valley Dongzhi, and Jingchu, with over 80 core enterprises and nearly a thousand related enterprises; 31 key components of the human-like robot have been fully covered, with an industry-wide coverage rate of 85%; 13 key component companies have entered the whole machine industry chain. Electronic skin is seen as the first step for human-like robots to perceive the world, and the electronic skin developed by Wuhan Haweite Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd is a key component. "The brain chip uses Heizhima Intelligence, and the force sensor uses Feien Microelectronics, both from Hubei enterprises," said Li Miao, founder of Hand Robotics. The upcoming production of the "Wandering" wheeled human-like robot has 80% of its core components made and developed in Hubei.
