IATA: Global air freight demand in April increased by 5.8% year-on-year.

According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) data shows that the global air cargo demand in April 2025 is expected to increase by 5.8% compared to April 2024, in terms of freight tonne kilometers (CTKs). At the same time, the available air cargo capacity (ACTKs) is expected to increase by 6.3% compared to April 2024.
