Airbus is in talks with Chinese companies regarding a large order, possibly involving about 300 aircraft.
According to a report by Bloomberg on the 4th, sources said that China is considering ordering several hundred Airbus aircraft as early as July. It was also revealed that European leaders will visit Beijing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of China-EU diplomatic relations. The report said that sources said Airbus is currently in discussions with Chinese airlines about the potential size of the order, which could involve around 300 aircraft including narrow-body and wide-body models. One source said that the order could be between 200 and 500 aircraft. At the same time, they also stated that negotiations are full of uncertainties and may break down or take longer to reach an agreement.
