On the 4th, the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index in London closed at 8801.29 points, up 14.27 points or 0.16% from the previous trading day. The three major European stock indexes rose across the board that day. In terms of individual stocks, the top five performing stocks among the FTSE 100 constituents were: business process outsourcing company Babcock International, whose stock price rose by 4.31%; gaming company Games Workshop Group, whose stock price rose by 3.44%; mining company Antofagasta, whose stock price rose by 3.15%; insurance company Hiscox, whose stock price rose by 2.58%; and resource company Anglo American, whose stock price rose by 2.45%.
