Wang Yi meets with UAE President's Special Envoy for China Affairs Khaldoon.

On June 4, 2025, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, met with UAE President's Special Envoy for China Affairs Khaldoon in Beijing. Wang Yi stated that China's policy towards the UAE is stable, continuous, and long-term, and that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the UAE is in line with the national interests and the people's wishes of both countries. Sino-UAE relations are not targeted at any third party and are not subject to any third-party interference. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, Sino-UAE relations have maintained a good momentum of development and have become a model for China's exchanges with Arab countries. China is willing to work with the UAE to continue to grasp the overall direction of bilateral relations from a strategic and long-term perspective based on the important consensus of the two countries' leaders, to support each other on issues involving core interests, to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, to maintain close coordination in international and regional affairs, and to promote the deepening of the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership.
