Changzhou Ship Lock breaks monthly cargo record.

The reporter learned from Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group on June 4th that from May 1st to May 31st, the monthly cargo volume of Changzhou Ship Lock exceeded 24.44 million tons, an increase of 9.24% year-on-year, breaking the historical record. The Changzhou Ship Lock is the largest and last cascade hub on the Xijiang shipping mainline, and is also the "throat" leading to the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. It undertakes 90% of the freight volume on the inland waterways of Guangxi.
