In terms of heavyweight stocks, Bharti Airtel rose 0.6%, State Bank of India rose 0.56%, Reliance Industries rose 0.48%, HDFC Bank rose 0.35%, and Bajaj Finance rose 0.29%. On the downside, Tata Consultancy Services fell 0.78%, India Industrial Credit Investment Bank fell 0.23%, and Infosys Technologies fell 0.02%.
