Since the beginning of this year, more and more foreign investment institutions have joined the ranks of cornerstone investors in Hong Kong IPOs. Data shows that as of June 3, 27 companies have been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange this year, with 15 of them introducing foreign investment as cornerstone investors. In the same period last year, there were a total of 21 companies listed on the Hong Kong stock market, but only 3 of them introduced foreign investment as cornerstone investors. Industry insiders believe that foreign investment institutions currently prefer new consumption, new energy, pharmaceuticals and other sectors. By participating in cornerstone investments in high-quality companies, foreign investment institutions are able to not only share the dividends of China's industrial upgrading, but also pre-lock in leading companies with global competitiveness, showcasing the international capital's recognition of the long-term value of China's core assets.
