Standard Chartered Renminbi Global Index has been consistently rising, reaching its highest point in eight months.

Standard Chartered RMB Global Index's latest report shows that the index continued to rise in the first four months of 2025, reaching a high of 5167, the highest in eight months, with an increase of 8.3% since the beginning of the year. The report points out that the stable proportion of northbound bond market fund flows, southbound stock market fund flows, and RMB trade settlements in goods trade settlements are positive factors driving the continued expansion of the offshore RMB market.
