The Prime Minister of Mongolia did not pass a vote of confidence in parliament.
The Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, Amarbayasgalan, said today that due to the State Great Khural not passing the resolution on the vote of confidence for the Prime Minister, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh is considered to have resigned. Khurelsukh held a government meeting on May 28th and submitted the resolution on the vote of confidence to the State Great Khural. The Constitution of Mongolia stipulates that if the resolution is not passed, the Prime Minister is considered to have resigned, and a new Prime Minister will be appointed within 30 days.
