Bastian, the CEO of Delta Airlines, stated that he is more confident in the demand for the second half of the year, as price-sensitive passengers in the United States have shown restraint in consumption in recent months due to the deteriorating economic environment. Bastian said that the demand during this period should "slightly rebound." He mentioned that Delta previously encountered weak bookings in the U.S. market and among leisure travelers in the main cabin. "Undoubtedly, in the short term, given the situation we see from Washington and the challenges of trade negotiations, the current situation is quite volatile," Bastian said, "But I believe this situation will not last long. We are working hard to overcome difficulties and move towards stability."
