The fact proves that buying Bitcoin to boost stock prices may not be the miracle cure that companies once thought it was. In recent weeks, companies such as Trump Media & Technology Group have announced plans to use cash (sometimes borrowed) to invest in Bitcoin, joining the ranks of companies adopting the "Bitcoin holding company" strategy pioneered by Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy. While most companies initially saw their stock prices soar, outperforming the value of the cryptocurrencies they held, more and more signs indicate that their speculative premiums are starting to decline.
