The Office of the United States Trade Representative is extending partial exemptions on tariffs for China's Section 301 provisions.

The Office of the United States Trade Representative announced today that it will extend the exemption period for China in the 301 investigation on its behavior, policies, and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation. These exemptions were originally set to expire on May 31, 2025, but have now been extended to August 31, 2025.
