National Bureau of Statistics: The fixed sample follow-up investigation on population in 2025 has been launched.

The population fixed sample follow-up survey for the year 2025 officially began today. This survey can provide data support for strengthening population statistics and dynamic monitoring warnings, and better serving the high-quality development of the population. This year's population fixed sample follow-up survey will be conducted twice, on June 1st and November 1st, based on the results of the seventh national population census. A total of 300,000 people were sampled, with 200,000 people surveyed in June and the remaining 100,000 surveyed in November.
