On June 1st, the China Meteorological Administration continued to issue a yellow alert for heavy rain at 6 o'clock. Many areas including Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Guangxi are experiencing heavy rain. It is expected that from 8 o'clock on June 1st to 8 o'clock on June 2nd, there will be heavy to torrential rain in some areas of eastern Hubei, southern Anhui, northern Jiangxi, southern Jiangsu, Shanghai, central-northern Zhejiang, northeastern and southwestern Hunan, southeastern Guizhou, northern Guangxi, northwestern Yunnan, southeastern Tibet, and other regions. Some areas in the aforementioned regions will experience heavy rain. In these areas, there will be short periods of heavy precipitation, with locally strong thunderstorms and winds. The Civil Aviation Administration Meteorological Center issued an aviation weather forecast last night, indicating that today, there will be extensive precipitation clouds moving eastwards over the southwestern part of China and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Some areas will experience thunderstorms, which will have a significant impact on the Beijing-Guangzhou air route in the northern part of Hubei to northern Hunan, and the Shanghai-Chengdu air route. Affected airports include Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai Pudong, Chongqing Jiangbei, Wuhan Tianhe, Changsha Huanghua, Nanjing Lukou, and Hangzhou Xiaoshan. In addition, there will be scattered convective weather in western North China in the afternoon, affecting the Hohhot Baita Airport.
