On the eve of International Children's Day, the China Advertising Association held a seminar on protecting minors in advertising. Representatives from advertising regulatory agencies, courts, media organizations, academic groups, legal service agencies, women's and children's rights protection organizations, as well as member companies of the China Advertising Association attended the meeting. Member units of the China Advertising Association's self-discipline platform for advertising to minors shared their respective practical experiences and practices. A representative from Mars company introduced measures taken by the company in the field of food advertising to protect minors, including establishing marketing guidelines and adjusting the age limits for marketing that is not directly targeted at children. A representative from Baidu introduced practices by the company, such as refining advertising review rules, strengthening technical measures, and filtering out illegal advertisements and harmful information to implement the protection of minors.
