The China Advertising Association held a symposium on protecting minors' growth in advertisements.

On the eve of International Children's Day, the China Advertising Association held a forum on advertising to protect the growth of minors. Representatives from advertising regulatory agencies, courts, media outlets, academic groups, legal service organizations, women and children's rights protection organizations, and member enterprises of the China Advertising Association attended the meeting. Members of the China Advertising Association's platform for self-regulation of advertising to minors shared their respective practical experiences and practices. Representatives from Mars Company introduced the measures taken by the company to protect minors in the field of food advertising, including the development of marketing guidelines and adjusting the age limits for marketing that is not directly targeted at children. Representatives from Baidu introduced the company's practices in combing through unlawful advertisements, filtering out harmful information, and implementing measures to protect minors through refining advertising review rules and enhancing technological methods.
