On May 31, the Emergency Management Bureau of Wuyi County, Hebei Province, issued a notice: At around 18:30 on May 30, an explosion occurred in a chemical plant workshop in Wuyi County. After the accident, the fire, medical, public security, emergency and other departments of the city and county rushed to the scene and fully carried out rescue and disposal work. Currently, the on-site rescue work has ended, and the accident resulted in 5 deaths and 2 injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
