Chinese Embassy in Morocco: The opening of the Erong Morocco Megawatt Wind Turbine Blade Factory Project

On May 29th, Ambassador Li Changlin attended the opening ceremony of the Alang Morocco Megawatt Wind Turbine Blade Factory project and delivered a speech. Also in attendance were Hattib, the Mayor of the Eastern Region of Morocco, Zheng Wei, the counselor responsible for economic and trade affairs at the embassy, and Hu Wenlong, Chairman of Alang Technology. Ambassador Li stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, Sino-Moroccan cooperation is steadily developing. The Alang Morocco project is the first project in the Nador-Berhtou Industrial Acceleration Zone and the first Chinese project, its operation will play a positive role in improving the technological level of the Moroccan wind power industry and will serve as a good example for Chinese companies investing in Morocco. Hattib stated that in recent years, Sino-Moroccan economic and trade relations have made new progress, and the Alang Morocco project is a model of Sino-Moroccan cooperation, creating 3000 jobs and effectively promoting local economic and social development. In the afternoon, Ambassador Li Changlin and his delegation also visited the production workshop.
