The China Meteorological Administration issued a yellow alert for heavy rain at 6:00 on May 31st.

It is expected that from 08:00 on May 31 to 08:00 on June 1, there will be heavy to torrential rain in some areas of southeastern Tibet, western Yunnan, most of Chongqing, northern Guizhou, most of Hubei, northern Hunan, northern Jiangxi, central and southern Anhui, southwest Jiangsu, central and northern Zhejiang, etc., with some areas experiencing heavy rain in southeastern Tibet, northwestern Yunnan, central and southern Anhui, and southern Hubei. The above-mentioned areas will experience short-term heavy rainfall, with locally strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds.
