Meituan upgrades the "Rider Serious Illness Care Plan": Part-time delivery riders' underage children will now be included in the coverage.

On May 30th, Meituan announced that in order to continue improving the delivery driver protection system, starting from June 1st, Meituan officially upgraded the "Delivery Driver Serious Illness Care Plan", expanding the types of diseases covered for reimbursement, and including the minor children of part-time crowdsourced delivery drivers in the protection scope. On the basis of the previous 101 serious illness protections, the company further added coverage for minor illnesses, adding coverage for 61 minor illnesses, and also added reimbursement for non-serious illness hospitalization medical expenses.
