The first in the country! The passenger flow at the Gongbei Port exceeded 50 million people within the year.

On May 30th, the Zhuhai Border Inspection Station released passenger flow data. As of 5 p.m. that day, the station had inspected over 50 million passengers traveling between Guangdong and Macau through the Gongbei Port since the beginning of the year, a 12% increase compared to the previous year. It has become the first port in the country to reach a clearance volume of 50 million passengers within the year. Mainland residents traveling to Macau for tourism, study, and work, as well as Macau residents traveling to the mainland for tourism, shopping, and visiting relatives, make up the majority of the passenger flow at the port. The busy exchanges at the port also signify the accelerating development of connectivity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
