The Governor of the People's Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng, met with visiting Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Michelle Bullock. Both sides exchanged views on the economic and financial situation, monetary policy, and Sino-Australian financial cooperation. Pan Gongsheng stated that China's macroeconomic policies have been more proactive and effective this year, and the economy continues on a positive trajectory. Faced with external uncertainties, China and Australia should further deepen practical cooperation in the financial sector and jointly address global challenges. Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Fan Changneng, attended the meeting.
