Our country's first "sunshine map" released, smart meteorology assists agricultural production.

According to a message from the China Meteorological Administration, a meteorological research team recently developed the country's first "sunshine map" by constructing a high-resolution dataset of sunshine hours. This achievement provides a scientific basis for developing regional agricultural adaptation strategies in complex areas. The sunshine hour dataset for China was developed by the China Meteorological Scientific Research Institute, Shenyang Institute of Agriculture and Ecology Meteorology, and the Agricultural and Ecological Meteorological Large Model and Application team. By converting meteorological station data into grid data, the sunshine situation of large areas in China can be more intuitively displayed.
