According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to April, China's Internet and related service enterprises above designated size completed Internet business revenue of 597 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%. From January to April, China's Internet enterprises above designated size achieved a total profit of 41.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 10.8%. From January to April, China's Internet enterprises above designated size invested a total of 29.15 billion yuan in research and development expenses, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%, with the growth rate slightly higher than that of the first quarter by 0.2 percentage points.
