According to the financial news app, it was recently announced by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange that by the end of 2024, China's external securities investment assets by country/region and by resident holder sector were made public. The statistics show that by the end of 2024, China's external securities investment assets (excluding reserve assets) were 1.4173 trillion US dollars. Among them, equity investments were 859.8 billion US dollars, and bond investments were 557.5 billion US dollars. The top five countries/regions in terms of asset distribution were Hong Kong, the United States, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and the United Kingdom, with investment amounts of 610.1 billion US dollars, 331.6 billion US dollars, 115.6 billion US dollars, 72 billion US dollars, and 36 billion US dollars, respectively.
