CAICT: Domestic mobile phone shipments in April reached 25.038 million units, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year.

According to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in April 2025, the domestic market shipped 25.038 million mobile phones, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year, of which 19.889 million were 5G phones, a decrease of 1.7% year-on-year, accounting for 79.4% of the total shipments during the same period. From January to April 2025, the domestic market shipped a total of 94.708 million mobile phones, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year, of which 80.932 million were 5G phones, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year, accounting for 85.5% of the total shipments during the same period.
