The Shanxi Meteorological Observatory issued a blue alert for thunderstorms and strong winds at 13:40 on May 30, 2025. The warning areas include Datong, Shuozhou, western part of Xinzhou, and northern part of Lvliang. It is expected that thunderstorms with strong winds will occur in the warning areas in the next 6 hours, with gusts reaching force 7 or above, and there may be strong thunderstorms with locally accompanying small hail and other severe convective weather.
