Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China's software business revenue increased by 10.8% year-on-year in the first 4 months, and integrated circuit design revenue increased by 18% year-on-year.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released data showing that in the first four months of the year, China's software business revenue reached 4.2582 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%. In the same period, the total profit of the software industry was 507.5 billion yuan, an increase of 14.2% compared to the previous year. Software exports in the first four months reached 17.26 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. Information technology service revenue in the first four months was 2.8415 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.5% year-on-year, accounting for 66.7% of the industry's total revenue. Among them, cloud computing and big data services generated a revenue of 465.8 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4% year-on-year, accounting for 16.4% of information technology service revenue; integrated circuit design revenue was 121 billion yuan, an increase of 18.0%; and e-commerce platform technology service revenue was 334.1 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1%.
