According to the Zh tng financial app, on May 30th, the National Energy Administration released the data on the issuance and trading of renewable energy green power certificates for April 2025. In April 2025, the National Energy Administration issued 216 million green certificates, a month-on-month increase of 23.94%, involving 104,300 renewable energy generation projects. Of these, 165 million green certificates were tradable, accounting for 76.36%; this period issued 191 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy generation in March 2025, accounting for 88.17%. In April 2025, a total of 59.4 million green certificates were traded nationwide, with 27.39 million green certificates traded in green electricity transactions. From January to April 2025, a total of 259 million green certificates were traded nationwide, with 87.83 million green certificates traded in green electricity transactions.
