SHFE: Shanghai Stock Exchange releases the SSE 580 Index.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange announced that the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. will officially launch the SSE 580 Index on June 16, 2025, providing the market with a more diverse investment target. The SSE 580 Index selects 580 securities with smaller market capitalization and better liquidity from the Shanghai Stock Exchange to reflect the overall performance of securities of smaller market capitalization listed companies in the Shanghai stock market. The SSE 580 Index, along with the SSE 50, SSE 180, and SSE 380 indices, collectively constitute the SSE Size Index Series, reflecting the overall performance of securities of listed companies in different market capitalization sizes in the Shanghai stock market.
