In April, China's transportation industry's main indicators such as freight volume, port cargo throughput, and passenger flow volume maintained steady growth, and the overall scale of transportation investment remained stable. In April, the commercial freight volume reached 50.3 billion tons, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. Among them, the highway freight volume reached 37.5 billion tons, an increase of 4.1% year-on-year; the waterway freight volume reached 8.6 billion tons, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year.
